Internal Sales Training

Castrol Magnatec was an internal sales training app for Castrol’s sales force across the APAC markets, designed to make product knowledge more engaging and accessible on the job.

The experience combined a structured knowledge centre with questionnaires and gamified elements to turn product information into something sales teams could actively explore rather than simply read. I worked across the UI and UX, shaped the concept for the second phase and oversaw its development and rollout resources.

The app was developed for iOS and Android and rolled out across 13 markets.

See, hear and feel it

The product claim is invisible, molecules that cling to the engine. The app makes it a thing you rub with your finger and hear.

One screen, five jobs

Brochure, demo, videos, resources, quiz. A sales rep has minutes in front of a customer and no time to navigate.

The pitch, on the page

The elevator pitch sits next to the argument it belongs to, so the app trains the rep and sells to the customer with the same material.

Built for iOS and Android, with its own launch material, because an internal tool has to be sold to its users too.
